A presentation for new associates was held at the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković”, with the aim of introducing them to the Institute’s working procedures and key aspects of its operations.

During the presentation, participants had the opportunity to become familiar with the laws and regulations governing the Institute’s work, as well as the organization of activities in laboratories and in the field, and the roles and responsibilities of different departments within the Institute. A dedicated segment focused on practical information, including an overview of available forms used in scientific communication and administrative procedures.

The structure of the institutional website was also presented, in order to facilitate navigation and access to relevant information. In addition, participants were introduced to the services provided by the library, including support in searching scientific literature and access to electronic resources. The basic concepts of open science were also presented, along with the importance of the institutional repository in preserving and increasing the visibility of research outputs.

Such activities aim to provide new members of the Institute with clear guidance for their work and to support their smooth integration into the research environment.
