Research Trainee
Milica Vukojević
Milica Vukojevic is a PhD student at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. Since February of 2025, she has been employed as a junior research trainee in the Department of Cytology, Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” – National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade. Her scientific research work is focused on the biology of aging and redox biology. The subject of her research is the examination of the effects of polyphenols of natural origin on the prostate and other organ systems in a model of naturally aged male rats with emphasis on the analysis of antioxidant status, redox regulatory mechanisms, signaling mediated by hydrogen sulfide, persulfidation, and the phenomenon of senescence.
