Research interests:
• The role of immune cells in the gastrointestinal and respiratory systems in the development and pathogenesis of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases
• Pharmacological modulation of inflammatory and autoimmune disorders
• Immunomodulatory properties of mesenchymal stem cells obtained through spontaneous migration from tissue
• The role of the immune system in the development and pathogenesis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease mediated by nitrosative stress
