SAIGE

SAIGE project - The project for accelerating innovation and fostering entrepreneurship in the Republic of Serbia

In October 2022, the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the RS with the aim of supporting the process of institutional transformation through the implementation of the SAIGE project - "The project for accelerating innovation and fostering entrepreneurship in the Republic of Serbia".

The SAIGE project supports the further reform of the scientific and research sector, strengthens ties between the business and academic sectors, and promotes the development of innovative companies. It is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the RS, the World Bank, and the European Union. Participants in the project include 18 scientific institutes, including IBISS.
