With the support of the EU Delegation in Serbia, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the best project proposals received so far in response to the Challenge call for innovative solutions for the green transition of the Serbian economy have been selected. 

Two projects of IBISS researchers were approved as part of the public call "EU for Green Agenda in Serbia" project.

The project "The path to successful decarbonization with cassette green roofs" is selected for participation in Accelerator for Decarbonisation and Green Industry 2023. Company Green decor, Belgrade in partnership with Institute. The coordinator of the activities carried out by IBISS is Dr. Ljiljana Tubić, Department of plant physiology.

The second project "Biomass for Energy and Biodiversity (B4EB)" is selected for participation in Accelerator for Circular Economy 2023. The main applicant is the company DEA LOYALTY D.O.O. in partnership with the Institute, the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The coordinator of the activities carried out by IBISS is Dr. Maja Raković, Department of Hydroecology and Water Protection.
