Innovative formulation ‘ECO-repellent’ was awarded with the golden medal at TESLA FEST 2025, the 39th International Festival of Innovation, Knowledge and Creations held in Novi Sad on October, 12-15th.

The event was organized by the Association of Inventors of Vojvodina under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Provincial Government and the City of Novi Sad. The product was also granted a Special Award by the Romanian innovation society Corneliugroup Association.

This formulation is the result of the cooperation of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy with IBISS within the framework of the IBISS Proof of Concept "THYM-PROTECT" within the SAIGE project and the "NatuRep" Proof of Concept project of the Science Fund of The Republic of Serbia.

ECO-repellent is an innovative solution that combines repellent and insecticidal properties to protect stored legume and cereal crops from insect pests. In addition, it has a proven biostimulatory effect that enhances seed vitality and germination. Developed using environmentally friendly green production technology, ECO-repellent is manufactured without organic solvents or wastewater generation, ensuring a safe and sustainable product.

The product has intellectual property protection through two national (П-2024/0758, П-2025/0366) and one PCT patent application (PCT/RS2025/000003).
