Our colleague Dr. Stoimir Kolarević, principal research fellow of the Department of Hydroecology and Water Protection has been selected for Danubius Mid-Career Award for 2025. This prize is awarded by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Women, Science and Research and the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM).

In this category, a single awardee is selected for recognition of the outstanding achievements in science and research in and for the Danube region. The Award was presented to him on November 13, 2025, at the Annual Danube Rectors' Conference, held in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
