The recipients of the "Goran Ljubijankić" Foundation awards for the best doctoral dissertations and master’s theses in the field of molecular biology defended in 2025 have been announced, among whom the awardee was the young colleague Milivoje Konstantinović.

The award-winning master's thesis "The effect of freeze-dried strawberry fruit (Fragaria ananassa Duch.) on lipid metabolism, inflammatory and redox status of visceral adipose tissue in an animal model of obesity caused by a high-fat diet" was done at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" - National Institute of the Republic of Serbia under the mentorship of Dr. Jelena Brkljačić, scientific advisor of IBISS and prof. Dr. Goran Brajušković, full professor at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade.

The award ceremony was held on January 30 at the Institute for Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering.
